ABOUT CARL

Carl is an Author, MBA, former Chief Financial Officer of $275M high growth company, business owner, consultant and coach who understands the numbers (hard) and people (soft) side of business. .He is an expert trainer of finance & accounting for non-financial personnel and entrepreneurs with over 25 years of training experience.

Carl is an experienced and highly trained accountant with over 25 years of senior level finance, accounting and business management experience. He has completed advanced degree requirements in accounting and taxation in addition to an MBA. He taught college level accounting for 15 years and has trained over 5000 non financial professionals and entrepreneurs in the fundamentals of finance, accounting and business management.

He spent 19 years in a high growth technology company that grew from $10 Million to $275 Million in revenue. He started as Chief Accountant and rose through the ranks to Chief Financial Officer. He is a former business owner (CEO) of a manufacturing firm producing small precision metal parts.

Carl currently has his own consulting firm that specializes in business and motivational presentations in addition to business coaching and consulting. Carl is also a retired Lieut. Colonel from the Army Finance Corps with a Comptroller specialty and served 27 months in Vietnam.

His broad knowledge base and experiences serve as the source for his business and motivational presentations which are rich in content and delivered with anecdotes and stories from his varied experiences. Carl makes lasting relevant points in addition to entertaining and educating audiences. He considers himself a PFA-People Focused Accountant. Others consider the PFA to mean Pretty Funny Accountant, also considered an oxymoron but many.

Carl uses his years of experience and expertise in coaching business owners and managers in all aspects of business organization and management. His coaching techniques are aimed at helping business owners, entrepreneurs and managers become successful and profitable.

He is a member of the Council of Experts of the investment firm, Gerson Lehrman and has been designated a Gerson Lehrman Group Scholar, awarded to top performers. He is also a member of the Society of Industry Leaders sponsored by Standard & Poor’s.
